Milford
Sound
Discover The Milford Sound Travel along the edge of Lake Wakatipu
beneath the rugged Remarkables, to Te Anau for a morning tea break
(own expense). Then enter the Fiordland National Park pausing at
the Mirror Lakes before passing through the Hollyford Valley. The
road climbs to enter the Homer Tunnel and emerge above the Cleddau
Valley before descending down to Milford Sound. Here you will take
an unforgettable Red Boat cruise on the majestic Milford Sound.

TSS
Earnslaw & Walter Peak Station
Relive the elegance of bygone days with a cruise
aboard the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw, one of the last remaining
coal fired passenger carrying vessels operating in New Zealand.
Step aboard - watch the stokers fuelling the fireboxes and hear
the sound of the steam engines working as the TSS Earnslaw takes
you on a cruise of beautiful Lake Wakatipu. Take the cruise on its
own or combine with a Barbeque lunch or Buffet Dinner at Walter
Peak High Country Farm. Here you can gain a fascinating insight
into New Zealand high country life. There is much you can do including

Doubtful
Sound Cruise
Known for its wilderness and wildlife, Doubtful
Sound is the second largest of the 14 fjords in the World Heritage
area of Fiordland National Park. Your adventure begins as you cruise
the crystal clear waters of Lake Manapouri. Then it's over Wilmot
Pass, stopping along the way to experience some of Fiordland's densest
rainforest and to view the colorful alpine moss gardens. On reaching
Deep Cove, you will board the spacious catamaran for a three-hour
cruise that takes in the most dramatic scenery. The skippers provide
a detailed commentary. Keep a look out for wildlife such as bottlenose
dolphins, fur seals and rare penguins. Daytime and overnight cruises

In the centre of the city you can’t help but notice Christchurch
Cathedral, an outstanding example of Gothic Revival architecture.
You can climb up to the spire for a bird's-eye view of the city
and, while there, examine the cathedral bells at close hand. |

Alpine Safari
Board the luxury catamaran for the most popular cruise in the Bay
of Islands. The highspeed vessel will whisk you on a comfortable
journey to the Cape Brett lighthouse. Next is Motukokako Island
then make your way through the famous 'Hole in the Rock', and on
to the majestic Grand Cathedral Cave. On the return journey meander
through the inner islands. View sandy beaches, beautiful bays and
marine wildlife as your skipper gives an informative commentary.
Stop on beautiful Urupukapuka island where you can enjoy one of
the scenic walks, a swim or ride the Subsea Adventure. Browse through
the Maori Arts and Crafts center or relax in the café. |

Akaroa and
Kaikoura Dolphins/Whales
Akaroa-Swim with one of
the world's smallest and rarest dolphins - the Hector's or New Zealand
Dolphin. The dolphins frequent the sheltered Akaroa Harbour all
year round and you can swim with them from October to April. Dolphins
Up Close operates a jet-powered catamaran. This close encounter
with the dolphins gives opportunities for interaction and great
photographs. All necessary gear is supplied.
The Kaikoura Full Day Tour departs daily at 7.30am and returns approx.
6.15pm. Depart north from Christchurch to Kaikoura which maintains
its fishing heritage and here the ocean's continental shelf is very
close to shore with an abundance of over 200 species of marine life.
